I don't have experience skating, can I still join NOVA Roller Derby?
Yes! We have team for all ages and skill levels. From national and state play to local juniors NRD has a place for you.
Does playing for NRD require any travel?
Yes and no, it is up to you! We have teams that travel throughout the DMV playing ranked games. We also have three local teams that play each other in friendly matches every other month
When are practices and games?
Practices are every Sunday morning and Wednesday night. Local bouts are played once every other month. Ranked games against other leagues are scheduled periodically throughout the year/
I don't skate but want to be get involved, what can I do?
We are always looking for volunteers for a number of positions including skating and non-skating officials and game setup/breakdown help. Send us a message through our contact page
